elinsAudio MILLE

Who is the Mille made for?

The Mille was designed for audiophiles and music lovers who expect absolute control and a reference level of performance from an amplifier. It is an option for those who desire bass that is deep yet perfectly disciplined, high resolution across the entire frequency range, and coherent, unconstrained macro-dynamics - especially in large listening rooms.

Its enormous current efficiency makes it a natural choice for systems with low-impedance speakers (i.e. difficult to drive), including demanding magnetostatic designs. However, it will also find its place in combinations with other ambitious projects - from studio monitors to full-sized floorstanding speakers - wherever full control and fidelity to the musical message are paramount.

Architecture and Design Principles

In the Mille's construction, the signal sections are separated from the power supply sections to minimize interference and crosstalk. The linear preamplifier utilizes a maximally simplified signal path and a hybrid mains-battery power supply, which translates into speed, purity, and fluidity of sound. The monoblocks, based on ICEpower1000 modules, ensure consistent dynamics across the entire frequency range and full bass control, thanks to high power and a high damping factor.

The Mille is a reference-grade amplifier for audiophiles and music lovers who demand absolute control and the fullest musical expression. Its architecture is divided into three independent modules - a linear preamplifier and two powerful power amplifiers - ensuring maximum signal purity and optimal operating conditions. Entirely designed and manufactured in Poland, it combines uncompromising current reserve with a background silence comparable to studio standards. Thanks to exceptional load stability, the Mille maintains effortless control over even the most demanding loudspeakers, delivering transparent, dynamic sound, faithful to the original.

The Mille presents a dense and saturated midrange, yet free from artificial colouration. The high frequencies exhibit a tube-like smoothness and natural decay, while the bass combines reference-level depth with immediate control. Macro-dynamics unfold freely, without any signs of compression, while micro-dynamics maintain the natural breathing and finesse of the recordings. The soundstage is built with a clear foreground, stable source localization, and rich acoustic information, all against a backdrop of absolute silence.

The Mille is a versatile system - it works excellently with a wide spectrum of loudspeakers. It is especially recommended for low-impedance designs (i.e. difficult to drive, requiring a very high current output amplifier), including magnetostatic speakers. It performs equally well in combination with high-efficiency monitors and floorstanding speakers, where it fully utilizes its potential for differentiation and control.
